John ArcieroJohn Arciero - Client Partner

John provides direct advice and coaching as a partner to client leadership teams seeking to develop and execute more-effective business plans and models. He has had numerous leadership and executive roles across the business spectrum, from Vice-President of Sales and Business Development for mid-market companies to Founder-CEO-Chairman for successful startups. His extensive background and strengths encompasses business planning, business strategy, corporate development, business development, and client relations.

Prior to moving to Charlotte, John gained valuable experience in leadership and executive management roles in a variety of vertical industries including real estate, corporate security, and information technology. He founded Global Research Network, Inc. (GRN) to serve clients in corporate security and information services, and grew the company to a multi-million dollar business with over 200 employees. After the successful sale of GRN, he moved his family to Charlotte where he transitioned into management consulting working with clients such as Nucor Steel, Bank of America, and Continental Tire.

John began offering a strategy advisory and business execution service in 2004 focusing on emerging and growth stage companies seeking more effective approaches to improve productivity, performance, and profitability. Combined with his experience in professional services, he has consulted over 50 client organizations to create new business strategies and effect significant organizational change.  John possesses expertise in selecting and implementing new CRM applications and IT platforms for clients to create more efficient and effective business processes. The changes within an organization generate new customers, sales, market opportunities, reduced risks and cost structures.

John holds a BA in Industrial Psychology-Business Administration and an MA in Education. He has gained valuable expertise in Business Negotiations through executive education programs attended annually at Harvard University.

Tad Bixby – Vice President

Tad Bixby is the Vice President at Level Management Partners ("LEVEL").

Tad leads business development at LEVEL as well as providing sales and marketing counsel, coaching and program development as a partner to client leadership teams responsible for driving increasing sales and elevating corporate, brand and product visibility.

He has had senior leadership and executive roles at global marketing agencies serving multinational brands while based in Silicon Valley, China, Malaysia and Atlanta. Tad has distinguished himself as a highly effective sales leader on behalf of BellSouth and compliance industry leaders The Network and Global Compliance Services, and currently heads LEVEL sales and consults with SMBs on sales and marketing programs.

While based in Silicon Valley, Tad held positions as Vice President and Group Manager at Edelman Worldwide in Palo Alto prior to spearheading Edelman’s Tech Practice expansion integrating its 17 offices in Asia from postings in Beijing and Kuala Lumpur. In Asian, he recruited new pan Asia clients including HP, Intel, IBM, Motorola, Samsung, TI and many more.

Returning from Asia, Tad joined Ketchum as Vice President and Group Manager, where he lead national account teams in Atlanta and Silicon Valley on integrated marketing programs aligning corporate ID, branding, advertising, web marketing, packaging and media relations.

Tad began focusing primarily on sales when he joined the sales leadership team at PresentationPro, a digital content creation tools and services firm, where he lead the company by consistently achieving over 150% of his sales objective. He later moved to BellSouth’s Intelliventures Co. sales management team where he led 68 sales reps to achieve over 220% of overall sales objective and was responsible for the largest Internet Advertising sale in BellSouth’s history.

After BellSouth, Tad joined The Network, a leading Governance, Risk and Compliance industry Software as a Service provider, where he maintained over 175% of sales objective with new business wins and multinational program management with Apple, Cisco, Dell, GAP, GameStop, Kaiser Permanente, Visa International, Wells Fargo, Yahoo! and others. He later joined Global Compliance Services, the GRC industry’s leading SaaS provider, launching its Global Communications Practice that integrated GRC SaaS solutions, third-party compliance services, and training and awareness among multinational clients including Carters’, Clorox, Cox, Goodrich, Google, Northrop Grumman, Norwegian Cruise Lines, TVA and others. Following Global Compliance, he was an independent sales and marketing consultant prior to joining LEVEL.

Tom Bixby – President, CEO

Tom Bixby is the President and CEO of Level Management Partners ("LEVEL").

Mr. Bixby’s 30+ year career blends finance and operational expertise with deep technology management credentials, featuring extensive senior leadership roles in small, mid-market, and Fortune 500 corporate settings yielding insight and perspective highly valued by LMP clients.

Mr. Bixby also is Founder and CEO of EvaluSys LLC, a SaaS (“Software as a Service”) company that develops and operates a broad array of web-based management process diagnostics relied upon by management consultants nationwide to drive value growth with small and mid-market clients.

In 2013, Mr. Bixby launched the Business Wellness Advisor Network of Charlotte, a cross-functional group of expert management advisors and service providers who collaborate to improve the health and performance of middle market and smaller businesses.

Before founding EvaluSys and LEVEL, Mr. Bixby served as Chief Information Officer at Visagent Corporation, a technology leader in retail trade management services and Internet-based trading exchanges. Under Mr. Bixby’s leadership, Visagent developed and operated the Visagent Grocery Exchange and Visagent Surplus Goods Exchange, two B2B trading exchanges serving many of the world’s largest retailers and suppliers in the CPG space.

Mr. Bixby’s finance experience began with earning a Finance MBA in 1985 and continuing into the banking industry through 1998. During this time, his responsibilities included strategic planning, mergers & acquisitions, financial operations, and other officer-level roles. While providing financial leadership to Shawmut Corporation’s Merger Integration Team, Mr. Bixby conceived, developed, and managed a corporate-wide program that monitored the realization of over $63 million in annual expense savings from merger integration activities.

In a consulting role, Mr. Bixby assisted a $71B financial services firm in evaluating opportunities to launch an Internet-based channel for credit card customer acquisition, a $7B discount retailer with multiple human resource strategic initiatives, and a $1B world-wide produce grower/distributor with identification of overall strategic Internet business opportunities. In another successful engagement, Mr. Bixby spearheaded end-to-end business process design efforts for launching the Internet Commerce distribution channel for a $4.9B global manufacturer.

Howard Dixon – Client Partner

Howard Dixon offers more than 20 years of accomplishment laden experience in the manufacturing industry.   Howard serves clients as a key strategic client partner, helping to drive manufacturing growth, operational efficiency and globalization. Howard brings valuable leadership and management insight and hands-on practical knowledge to manufacturers and other clients seeking to expanding their product line domestically or globally, or simply improve their operating results.

Beginning his career in the Electronic and Automotive industries, Howard developed a strong interest and passion for operations management and advanced problem solving techniques.  With deep leadership experience, Howard's successes include a 15 year overseas assignment as a General Manager, leading Singapore and China operations for manufacturing, logistics, purchasing, human resources, government liaison, and finance for the entire Asia Pacific theatre. Howard's international experience also included a General Manager role for European manufacturing operations in Romania and the Netherlands.

During his time overseas Howard opened three new facilities (150,000 – 265,000sq.ft) in Singapore, China, and Romania.   Howard also played a vital role in the development of staffing outside the USA. Working overseas with government agencies for tax, labor, and trade provided a well rounded background for addressing problems and developing innovative solutions. His major strengths are in people development, problem analysis and cross-cultural team development. 

In Singapore, Howard has led a global team tasked with development and automation of global manufacturing metrics used by corporate headquarters as well as eight manufacturing locations. This effort was successfully completed in less than a year and brought the key measures for inventory, financial, customer service, and productivity to one location for a coordinated problem solving.   Howard also led a global team tasked with developing future technology for a manufacturing company's key product line and establishing optimal locations for this future manufacturing.

Howard holds an MBA, and is certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt and LEAN Expert.  

David ShavzinDavid Shavzin, CMC* - Client Partner

David has over 25 years of experience in developing strategy and executing on that strategy in a global environment, guiding diverse, cross-functional teams to project success. His leadership experience in team alignment, change management, facilitation, business process improvement and quality systems comes from a career in senior operational roles and in consulting.

David started his career in banking and finance, a corporate planning role at Freddie Mac. The planning team assisted the CEO and executive team with an operational planning process roll-out. This encompassed internal consulting with department vice presidents, team training and alignment through all levels of the organization.

David then joined Aventis in France. David spent his first 4 years with Aventis in Paris doing corporate finance and global mergers & acquisitions work. He was then appointed Vice President of Operations & Finance for a North American subsidiary, leading ISO 9001 and SAP implementations. His operational leadership responsibilities included supply chain, information technology, finance and quality in the $175 million subsidiary. David's last position with the company was back in Paris as a Global Project Manager for a worldwide process improvement effort, facilitating an international project team.

A Certified Management Consultant, David has been consulting since 2000 and is President of the Institute of Management Consultants (Georgia chapter). He has served on several boards and committees, often facilitating planning efforts. These include World Trade Center - Atlanta, the Joshua Brown Foundation, the Fulton Education Foundation and the Alliance Française d'Atlanta.

David earned an MBA from George Washington University and a BA from the University of Wisconsin. He is an ISO 9001 Lead Assessor. He is fluent in French, conversational in Spanish.
